About Helios and Roon

Helios is the human enhancement company, founded by three Harvard Medical School physician-scientists. We are building a consumer health company from the ground up, and the ambition is enormous: to give people a way to understand and improve their own health that has simply never existed before.

Our first product is Roon, a line of nootropic pouches for clean focus and energy without the crash, and it is launching now. Behind it is the larger mission. We are pioneering a way for anyone to profile their health from home at a depth that was, until now, inconceivable, and building the intelligence that turns it into something a person can act on. Roon is how we learn consumer first-hand, with real products, real customers, and real budget, and the same playbook is what we will run as the bigger product reaches the world. We are well-capitalized, the founders are hands-on, and we move fast.

The role

You make the ads that bring people to Roon. This is a hands-on creative job: you turn marketing angles into a steady stream of static and video ads, you watch what works, and you make more of it. You will work directly with the founders, who plan to be in the ad account next to you in the early months, so you learn the brand from the inside instead of handing it to an agency.

This is not a brand-design role and it is not a strategy role. It is the person who can make a lot of good creative, fast, and get sharper every week.

What you'll own

1. The creative

You make static ads in Canva and video ads in CapCut, in volume, on brand, and fast. Most weeks that means many fresh variations rather than a few precious ones.

2. The testing loop

We choose the angles to test together. You produce the creative for each one, we see what the numbers say, and we double down on what works. Nothing here is finished art; it is experiments.

3. Platform craft

You know the basics of designing for Meta and TikTok, including where text is allowed and how each placement renders, so the work ships clean and does not get throttled.

4. Keeping the learnings in-house

Every ad teaches us something about who responds to what. You keep track of it, so the knowledge compounds with us instead of leaking out to an agency. Over time you grow into reading the performance data yourself.

Who you are

We are hiring one exceptional marketer, not filling a seat. The bar is simply the best person we can find: someone with a great eye and fast hands who is hungry to prove it. Specifically:

  • Zero to three years out of school, with a portfolio of ads or content you actually made
  • A strong eye and fast hands: you can make something good look good without a week to do it
  • Comfortable being judged on performance, not applause
  • Fluent with Canva and CapCut, or able to get there in days
  • An AI-native workflow you use to make more and better, never more and noisier, with your taste as the final check
  • Happy to make a hundred ads to find the five that work, and able to get a small studio's worth of creative out of yourself alone, without dropping the bar
  • A degree from a strong program or equivalent self-taught skill; your portfolio matters most

Nice to have

  • Experience running or analyzing Meta or TikTok campaigns
  • Performance creative for a DTC or consumer brand
  • Short-form video editing chops
  • A public body of work, a TikTok, a portfolio, anything we can watch

Who thrives here

The people who do well here move fast and care more about what works than what wins awards. They treat every ad as a test, they are not precious about killing one that flops, and they get energy from volume. They multiply their own output without lowering the bar, and they take the brand personally rather than treating it as someone else's to protect. They want to learn the whole growth engine, not just the design tool. They run hot and move fast, and they expect the early days of a launch to ask a great deal of them. You do not need a long résumé; some of the best people for this are a year or two out of school and hungry to prove it.

You would be one of the first people building a consumer brand from zero, learning paid growth straight from the founders, with your work in front of real customers and real budget within days. Your compensation includes meaningful equity, so you build this with a real stake in what it becomes. It is the fastest way we know to learn how modern consumer companies are actually built, and the role grows as we do.
