What if you got to build the growth engine for the company redefining health and longevity with medical superintelligence and the highest-resolution blood test in the world?

About Helios

Helios is the human enhancement company, founded by three Harvard Medical School physicians and scientists. We are redefining health and longevity: an at-home test that measures over 1,000 biomarkers from a single draw (the highest-resolution picture of your biology available anywhere) and the models we train on that data, on the path to medical superintelligence: models that know your biology, catch trouble before it becomes disease, and design what to do about it. Around the test we are building a family of consumer health offerings. Roon, our nootropics line for clean focus and energy, is the first of them, launching now.

The problem we work on is one of the hardest in healthcare: medicine today is reactive. It waits for disease to appear and then treats what shows up. We think that is the wrong model. The companies that win the next decade of health will know your biology, catch trouble before it becomes disease, and act on it. We are building the products, the data, and the models to make that real.

Our consumer offerings are the platform: real products in millions of hands, each one reaching people the healthcare system never will, funding the next, and feeding data back into the models. That is the flywheel, and growth is what spins it. We are well-capitalized, the founders are hands-on, and we move fast. The engine you build carries everything we ship.

The role

Distribution is the moat, and how Helios shows up in the world decides everything. This is not a marketing coordinator role and it is not a brand consultant role. This is the person who owns how our products grow, end to end: Roon today, the Helios test at launch, and everything after, from the paid funnel to the growth loop to the hook that stops the scroll. You are half growth hacker, half analyst, with the taste of a creative director.

You own growth across the Helios portfolio: user acquisition across paid, organic, creative, and lifecycle channels, and the numbers behind all of it. You own the numbers: what we spend, what it returns, what is working, and what we do next. You will live in the ad accounts, run the weekly experiment loop, and own go-to-market and e-commerce strategy for every product we ship, starting with Roon and then the Helios test.

It is a building role, not an advising one. You will be expected to make calls and own the results, not write decks about them.

What you'll own

1. Paid acquisition

You run the paid engine across Meta, TikTok, and Google: you move budget toward what is working, kill what is not, and scale without burning money. You own the data across Meta, TikTok, and our store: ROAS, CAC, LTV, payback, attribution, creative fatigue, funnel, cohorts, and what they tell us to do next. You catch the number that does not make sense before it costs us money.

2. Creative engine

You know how to produce, test, and iterate on UGC, static ads, short-form video, hooks, and landing pages at volume. You have a strong point of view on why something performs: you can tell when a hook is weak, when a video feels fake, and when a concept has the potential to scale. With the Creative Marketer, you build a system that ships new creative every week. You can brief and even build ads yourself, and you are happy to. The best growth people close the loop from insight to creative to result rather than handing it off.

3. The experiment loop

Each week you decide what to test, read the results honestly, and turn them into the next set of bets. Speed and intellectual honesty matter more than polish. Over time this becomes a system rather than a habit: a testing engine that ships new experiments and reads their results every single week.

4. Organic and growth loops

You understand channels that compound. That could mean referrals, SEO, programmatic landing pages, lifecycle, influencer loops, campus growth, social content, community, or product-led growth. You know what earns attention versus what pays for it, and you do both. You are not just buying customers; you are building the moat underneath the funnel.

5. Go-to-market and e-commerce

Pricing, offers, landing-page strategy, email and SMS flows, and the mechanics of the store all sit with you.

Who you are

We are hiring one exceptional operator, not filling a seat. The bar is simply the best person we can find: a sharp analytical mind that is happy to get its hands dirty. Specifically:

  • Track record. You have helped scale a consumer product, app, media product, or community. You can point to something real: a channel you scaled, CAC you lowered, content you made work, users you acquired, revenue you drove, or a growth system you built from zero. Proof counts for more than pedigree
  • A spike. Unusually strong in at least one of paid, creative, or organic growth, and hungry to learn the rest
  • Quantitative firepower. Genuinely strong at quantitative reasoning: you do order-of-magnitude math in your head and you can tell when a number is off, fluent in spreadsheets, and able to get to the answer without being handed a template
  • High learning rate. You experiment fast, learn from data, and change your mind quickly when something is not working. You do not need perfect information to ship: you test, read the signal, and improve
  • Bias to action. You ship campaigns, not decks. You do not wait for permission to test something, and you love trying ten ideas to find the one that blows up
  • Taste for consumer behavior. You understand why people share things, download apps, invite friends, and churn. You can tell why a TikTok got views, why an ad converted, why a landing page failed, or why a referral loop did not hit
  • Very online. A genuinely good social presence and an interesting TikTok or Reels feed. Scrappy, energetic, and experimental, but rigorous
  • Unusually good at something. Maybe it is building automation tools for your family, reselling sneakers, or making music. We hire for spikes, not résumés
  • Low ego. The bar is high, but no important problem is beneath us: strategy in the morning, cutting an ad in the afternoon, landing-page copy at night
  • An AI-native workflow you use to raise your ceiling rather than lower the bar, with your judgment as the last line of quality. We don't accept analysis that looks rigorous but isn't
  • A degree from a strong program or equivalent proof; we will look closely at how you actually think

Bonus points

  • Scaled Meta, TikTok, or Google ads profitably
  • Built a creative testing system from scratch
  • Grown a consumer app, social product, or community
  • Published content yourself, or worked with influencers, creators, or UGC
  • Built simple tools, scripts, automations, or dashboards: SQL or light scripting for your own analysis
  • Strong opinions on what makes consumer products spread
  • E-commerce or DTC growth experience, Shopify a plus
  • A consumer brand you helped grow, with numbers you can talk about

Who thrives here

The people who do well here are analytical without hiding behind analysis. They are happy to make the ad, not just grade it, and they would rather ship a decision today than model it for a week. They get more done than seems possible and take the results personally, owning the outcome rather than writing decks about it. They are honest about what the data says, especially when it is bad news, and they want to own the whole growth engine. They run hot and move fast, and they expect the early years of something this ambitious to ask a great deal of them. They have a high learning rate and high agency: they would rather run the test than schedule the meeting, and they treat every result, good or bad, as fuel for the next one.

Why this role

You would own growth for a consumer company from close to zero, working directly with the founders, with the budget and the freedom to find what works. The engine you build here is the one that will carry the 1,000-biomarker test, and everything we build toward medical superintelligence, to millions of people. Your compensation includes meaningful equity, so you build this as an owner with a real stake in what it becomes. If you have ever wondered whether you could build the thing instead of advising on it, this is the role.

Details

Commitment: Full-time

Location: Boston preferred, remote possible for the right person

Compensation: Competitive salary plus meaningful equity, so you share in what you help build

The interview

The process is simple. You meet each of the three founders. If we both like what we see, we bring you in for a paid one-week work trial: real work on the real ad account, not a case study. If it clicks, we make you an offer.

How to apply

Send your résumé to hello@heliosinc.xyz. Along with it, send the growth play you are most proud of running end to end. What was the channel? What did you build? What did it produce? What did you learn? We care less about polish and more about proof that you can make things grow. Expect a short quantitative case as part of the process. It is a real slice of the work, not a brain teaser.

Do not screen yourself out. If you are not sure you meet every line above and you suspect you are exceptional, write to us anyway and let us be the judge.

Helios is an equal-opportunity employer. We do not discriminate on the basis of any characteristic protected by applicable law, and we welcome applicants from every background.
